Farming for gold in Warcraft is easier with a guide, but to get you started here are a few monsters in the Eastern Plaguelands that are nice ways of getting cash when you need it (or if you are greedy just because you want it). The Plaguelands doesn’t really have any big moneyspinners, but what you will find is there are a lot of mobs that drop regularly and pop quickly. Importantly they are not challenging mobs, so if you are looking for an area that doesn’t get farmed heavily by other players, and where you can let off some steam without having to worry too much about being overmatched, then this could be the place for you.
The first nasty that needs to die regularly by your hand is the Mossflayer Zombies that can be found around (28,85). Don’t expect any massive rewards for these, but they do have several virtues. Firstly they drop good amounts of silver. Secondly they drop runecloth on a regular basis. Thirdly and most importantly, they are pretty easy to kill and they respawn really fast. This is a what you see is what you get area. Don’t hold out for that miracle drop from every 50th mob, because as far as I have found there are none. However when the other farming places are being heavily farmed by the gold seekers, this is a place that can earn a nice regular income for surprisingly little effort.
No doubt you will encounter a few Plaguebats whilst farming gold in the Eastern Plaguelands. At first these guys may seem just annoying, but you can actually do quite well out of just bashing on them. They have a good chance of dropping ‘Evil Bat Eyes’ which can sell for 2 gold if the right people are on the right quest. At the same time you’ll collect a good number of vendor trash items and you can skin the bat corpses too.
When you get bored of bats you can wreak similar havoc on Carrion Grubs and Carrion Devourers. Once again you can’t go 10 foot without tripping over one of these and they can be annoying until you start focussing on them. When you do you’ll find they have a high drop rate for Larval acid which you can sell for 6-8 gold at the right times.
There is no doubt that there is better places to grab both gold and levels in Warcraft, but these are becoming better and better known. The great advantage of killing the mobs suggested in this article is that they are relatively easy, they are rarely being farmed by other players, and they pop nice and fast.

Large PvE (Player vs Environment) raids normally take a few hours to clear entire dungeons, such as Molten Core, Ahn'Qiraj, and Blackwing Lair.
Because of the extreme damage monsters at this level of play can inflict, a common practice is to accouter with specialized equipment which protects against a particular element, such as equipping items with high fire resistance before facing a raid involving monsters that primarily deal fire damage. Therefore it is only one part of the high end content (more entertaining one) other part is endless farming of various stuff which need for participating in raid. Mostly it is about farming money for buying or herbs for making various potions such a "major healing/mana potion, greater resistant potions" and many others. Overall it means if you want to participate in high end instance raiding with your guild, you have to spare a few hours for farming (how many depends on population at current server and how many farmers are in current place) and then a few hours in dungeon. Overall the gameplay is really quite amazing in World of Warcraft...and with an expansion pack debuting soon, it will only get better.

In both cases the higher the better. If you created this account just to sell your WoW character – it is highly recommended you go through a few auctions first and get your number of sales up. Buy a few e-books(you can often get them for $0.01!) and make sure you get feedback for them. Your feedback should be 100%. If you have a lot of sales it can go lower, but even then you should have high 90’s. Do everything in your power to avoid your first negative feedback. Once you drop from 100% to 99% people will scan through your feedback looking for the negatives.
This may all seem superficial, but the more ‘trustworthy’ the account appears the more interested bidders you will have. Consider it from the bidders point of view. They are spending hundreds of dollars on ‘virtual’ goods. They don’t want to think that after sending you money you will vanish.

To cancel an Auction they need to file a complaint with E-bay, and anyone who has ever been through that process with e-bay will tell you what a circus that is. The pleasant side effect of the 24 hour Auction is that it will put you higher up the page, as E-Bay lists auctions closing soon first. If your Auction doesn’t sell you can just relist it as a new 24 hour Auction and once again it goes up the top of the list.
Finally: The Add: If everything else is in place, and your add sucks – you probably won’t even get a whiff of interest. There are too many other options out there for people to waste time. Precious few browse through a bad add. So get the information out there as quickly as possible. Start with the class, level and server. Then add features. What is a feature? Any cool equipment, any special skills. The key here is important information first – they details. E-bay lets you use a whole host of markup language – use it to your advantage. In the late nineties the game developers finally moved away from the text based environment and put their games into fully graphical worlds.
Ultima online and Everquest kicked off the MMORPG hype that we experience today, and many of the bigger game companies want a piece of that cake. In 2004 Blizzard Entertainment indeed took a big piece of the cake for themselves with World of Warcraft, which entertains nearly 7 million people today (2006).
So, what happens in an MMORPG, or a MUD, what makes them so addictive?
The centerpoint of every MMORPG is the avatar or character of the player. It is a figure that the player controls and that represents him/her inside the gameworld. Most recent games offer vast amounts of character customization to allow the players to "forge" the appearance of their characters to their wish. Once the character is "designed" and created the player takes off in a huge gameworld - it has to be huge since it is shared with many other people - most of the time killing monsters and doing quests assigned by NPCs (Non Player Characters).
Killing monsters earns the player experience, which is needed for the player's character to advance to the next skill/class level. When a monster is killed it can be looted for items which the player can then sell to earn in-game currency.
